ITS Definition

What is ITS?

Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS) area considers wide variety of topics from traffic data collection via data processing to using this data in traffic and transportation related services. Data can be collected, for example, from sensors installed in vehicles, from weather stations, from traffic cameras, and so on. Services can be related to traffic monitoring and control, private car navigation, public transportation, and so on.
